Visitors to the Terminal

Terminal Access Policy
The terminals at Rietlanden are secure and not freely accessible to everyone. In order to gain access to the terminals, visitors must follow the safety and house rules of Rietlanden Terminals and the ISPS. Identification and a valid VCA/VCH certificate are required, and viewing the Rietlanden Safety Film is also part of the access policy. You can view the film at the terminal reception Afrikahaven prior to your visit to the terminals.

The Safety Film is around five minutes in length, and you will be tested with five multiple choice questions afterwards. If you’ve answered the questions correctly, you can print a registration form. You use this to register at the reception at the Afrikahaven, where the registration and access process will be completed. This registration form is valid for six months. The house rules at Rietlanden Terminals are incorporated into the Safety, Health and Environment Plan (SHE Plan).

If you will only be visiting our office, viewing the safety film is not necessary and therefore not compulsory.
